BOVET 1822 celebrates its 185th anniversary with an innovative collection, a new promotional campaign and
major acquisitions that attest to its maturity and its independence, in keeping with its fundamental values and
its unrivalled watchmaking expertise.

Works of art that are the reflection of its exceptional movements. Works of art in terms of aesthetics and form,
timeless, transcending fashion and trends. Works of art in terms of traditional watchmaking expertise, its
precious essence preserved and magnified by the passing of time.
The attention to detail that is inseparable from good taste and the importance of individual craftsmanship have
given rise to creations with singular lines and curves, specific characteristics that have become BOVET 1822
classics.
BOVET 1822 re-invents its classics with zeal, emphasises their personality, optimises their clarity and updates
their aesthetic expression. Each bears the stamp of watchmaking passion. The result is equal to the Company
and its rich heritage, namely pocket watches refashioned in a resolutely contemporary style, combining unique
artisanal savoir-faire and innovative élan. Luxury Watchmaking distilled to its very essence.
For BOVET 1822, the exceptional remains the rule. This ongoing quest for excellence was placed on a durable
footing in 2006 by the acquisition of several artisanal manufacturing establishments. And so thanks to BOVET
1822, its watchmakers and dial makers of the Tramelan and Plan-les-Ouates Manufactories – veritable magicians
on an unending search for optimum reliability, artists imbued with boundless creativity and a fantastic ability
to make dreams come true – a new page in the history of Swiss watchmaking begins...
The Tramelan and Plan-les-Ouates Manufactories cannot fail to impress the visitor. Here light is omnipresent,
both in the carefully renovated buildings designed to foster the genius of master watchmakers, and in the eyes
of the craftsmen themselves, abounding in feeling; but also an ambience of calm and serenity. A paradox if you
will: here seemingly time stands still. Each artiste knows his part and all play in harmony to create together
genuine works of art. Here the exceptional is the rule and attention to detail is always paramount. Moderation,
good taste, refinement and true luxury reign supreme in this philosophical quest for the unique.
Lastly the Château de Môtiers, owned by BOVET 1822 since 29 March 2007, will house from 2009 a Museum
open to the public, where all connoisseurs of fine watchmaking will be able to discover, thanks to BOVET
1822, time in its rarest finery.
